Her background in luxury travel and marketing gives her an edge in finding the extraordinary in any home. Today, she tells us what she’s passionate about at MG Group:
How did you get involved in the real estate business?
I was 25, took a leap of faith, got my license and quit my corporate job – and I never looked back!
How long have you been at MG Group? What have you learned from your time at MG?
Nearly 6 years and counting. I joined the Group knowing absolutely nothing about real estate (besides what I learned in pre licensing, which hardly prepares you for the job). I strongly believe that I would never be where I am in my career without being part of the Group. The amount and speed with which I learned and the in-depth knowledge I’ve gained, I attribute to Mario’s leadership and mentoring and the collegial atmosphere that the Group fosters. By far, the biggest lesson I have learned to date is how to be light years more disciplined and organized than I was in my previous work life.
What keeps you passionate about what you do?
Meeting new people virtually daily, the “rush” of the deal, and knowing that what I do and the level at which I do it make the Group and my family proud of me.
How does MG Group stand out from other teams, in the Chicago area or even nationwide?
The level of service we provide is unmatched. We treat our clients more than just a transaction and we treat their homes like our own. We build long-lasting relationships because we go above and beyond for our clients – and our clients look to us as their all-around experts for all of their real estate questions and needs. As a result, the Group has grown very close to one another and treat each other like family; whereas other brokers compete with one another even within their own teams, we help each other succeed. With us, you are not Mario’s or my client, you are the Group’s client so you have 24+ people (including dedicated and amazing office staff) behind you, all looking out for your best interest and helping you accomplish your goal.
What accomplishments are you most proud of with MG Group?
I just sold out my first new construction project totaling more than $3.2M.
What trends are you seeing in the Chicago residential market that are most interesting these days, or in looking forward to 2022?
People really want private outdoor space and less communal living. That being said, my sphere of influence still wants new construction and in popular neighborhoods like the West Loop & River North. Even though COVID has forced everyone to be more careful about our social interactions, young professionals still want to live in neighborhoods with close proximity to restaurants and active social life options – but now with private outdoor space at home.
