We contacted Mario since he had sold other units in our homeowner’s association. We selected him over some others we interviewed for the energy he showed, his understanding of the local market, plus sensibility or openness — it seemed we could discuss things. We purchased another condo, moved out and cleaned and painted our place on his recommendation. We also had it staged, which was probably a good idea, although one can never prove it on an individual case. He convinced us to price it lower than we would have otherwise, and in the end I feel it was a wise decision. We got that price, but more importantly got a full price offer in a few days on the market. (Because of that, I cannot really rate negotiation based on our experience.) Selling quickly in a potentially changing environment (while carrying two mortgages) was a strong point for us. His staff was outstanding, being in on each visit, no matter what the issue–showing, inspection, appraisal, etc. His “concierge” was fantastic at keeping us in the loop. The closing staff and others were very attentive, even though perhaps formulaic at times. Mario pushes the time line, keeps things moving with very quick e-mail replies, all of which are logged at his group, which might stress some people, but for our sale it was appreciated and just what was needed. I would definitely recommend him as an seller’s agent.

Gian was absolutely fantastic assisting us finding our first home! They say when you find the right house, you’ll know it— luckily for us, our agent knew before we did! Gian has the ability to really understand what your needs are and curate a list of places that really align with it. Working with Jay was such a great first time home buying experience! A year prior, I had been referred to him by a friend when I was looking to find a new apartment to rent. I began working with MG Group in April of 2019. I was referred to John D. By family members. We hit a few road blocks along the way in finding the right home. None to any fault of John.

– We even had quizzes on everything like tuck pointing, different types of flooring etc.. so that we clearly understood what we were getting into
– Property Showings, we saw around 70 properties in 8 days any sane person will go crazy but not Peter 😀
– Buyer Showing Summary after everyday showings, this was no summary we had detailed info on each property with pros and cons and why we should choose which property.
– Peter had everything ready, he knew everything about each and every property, rental income, reserves, what maintenance work was done, age of roof, ac etc… I guess he could say the age of the cat or dog that lived in the apartment and how many times they got vaccinated 😀
– After we made an offer, we got all the referrals and people we needed to contact and they were excellent, thorough and true to their job!!!
– During closing, post closing, Peter went above and beyond and gave us detailed videos and pictures, he did an excellent job on the final walkthrough and providing details of all the nook and corners of the apartment.

We recently sold our home in downtown Chicago (2107 North Magnolia, Unit 1B) through the MG Group led by Mario Greco.
